EDIMS has organized a virtual team of over 350 board certified
ED physicians, RNs, pharmacists, medical malpractice attorneys,
risk management professionals, medical malpractice insurance
representatives to develop and review all EDIMS templates, order sets,
“macros,” and “pearls.”

Shane Hade

Mr. Hade is a seasoned business and technology management professional with extensive
experience in healthcare and financial services and a significant depth of line-level
and executive-level knowledge. His strong leadership qualifications, coupled with a
hands-on technology approach and a focus on bottom-line results, have enabled him to
formulate and implement advanced technology and business solutions that have been
successfully used to manage vital data flows, including patient, banking, and trading
transaction data. Mr. Hade's superior record of delivering simultaneous large-scale,
mission-critical systems on time and under budget affirms the effectiveness of his
team-based approach to management. He has extensive experience in building emerging-growth
IT service and product firms, and has worked with venture capitalists in raising funds
and assessing technologies of companies seeking funding.
Prior to being named CEO in May of 2006, Mr. Hade served as the company's Chief Operating Officer.
Under his leadership, the organization has raised its products and services to new levels of
quality and customer satisfaction, and continues to execute a shared vision of delivering to

John Fontanetta, MD, FACEP

Dr. Fontanetta is an expert in efficient ED operations/process design, physician productivity,
ED incentive plan development, EDIS interface design and deployment, and the use of EDISs and
information management applications in transforming the work performed in unscheduled healthcare
environments. He has nearly 20 years of clinical and management experience in Emergency Medicine
and currently serves as the Chairman of Emergency Medicine at Clara Maass Medical Center in
Belleville, New Jersey, which sees 54,000 visits/year. He has been heavily involved in development
of the EDIMS and WEBeMARS products offered by EDIMS. Dr. Fontanetta is also a Diplomat of
the American Board of Emergency Medicine and Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine
(Subspecialty of Pulmonary Medicine).
He received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in New York, New York
and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and fellowship in Pulmonary / Critical Care Medicine at Albert
Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx Municipal Hospital Center, Bronx, New York.

Mr. Sugerman's vast experience includes over 20 years focusing on all core finance, accounting
and treasury functions for hospitals, hospital systems, clinics, insurance companies, and a wide
range of other industries in various stages of start-up, growth, turnaround and transition.
He has served as CFO and Treasurer of a public insurance company, has over 14 years of audit and
consulting experience with Big Four accounting firms and spent 12 years as a founding partner in
a health care consulting firm.
His experience extends far beyond accounting and finance to encompass most business functions,
including turnaround management; strategic and tactical business planning, new venture start-up,
operating management and IT systems.
With extensive hands-on management skills in several turnaround situations and negative cash
flow operations, he has acquired a keen understanding of what works and what hasn't worked for
achieving profitability in the highly competitive and highly regulated health care and insurance industries.
Mr. Sugerman holds both a B.S. in accounting from California Polytechnic University and an MBA
from Claremont Graduate University. He is a licensed CPA and a member of the California Society
of CPA's, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American College of Health Care
Executives and Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Vice President of Clinical Client Relations
Ms. Barry joined Alpha Physician Resources in 1988 as a consultant to develop the Clinical
Information Manager Program. This program provides charting scribes for Emergency Department
physicians. Elaine became a full-time member of the Alpha team in April 1999 as Director of
the Clinical Information Manager Program and has also been a client account manager for several
sites responsible for (i). ensuring contractual agreements for providing emergency department
physicians were met. (ii). providing on site support to hospital administration and Emergency
Department leadership including compliance with JCAHO, EMTALA and New York/New Jersey State regulations.
Currently Ms. Barry serves as the Director of IT Clinical Client relations for EDIMS.
Elaine is responsible for directing clinical policy and compliance initiatives as well as
efforts to maximize the adoption of EDIMS software in the ED environment. Elaine has a clinical
operations background, with experience in ED process optimization, and extensive domain
knowledge that will continue to strongly influence the evolution of our EDIMS product.
Prior to joining Alpha, EMA and EDIMS, Ms. Barry worked as a Registered Nurse. She has an
extensive 25 years of clinical experience including pediatrics, critical care, medical surgical,
emergency department and 18 years as a mobile intensive care nurse and was certified as a National
Registry paramedic while working in the pre-hospital setting. Elaine maintains her clinical skills
as an Advanced Practice nurse in the Emergency Department at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville New Jersey.
Ms. Barry earned a Bachelors degree in Nursing from Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey.
A Masters degree in Nursing Administration from Seton Hall and a post Master's degree as a Family
Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University, Newark, NJ. Elaine's clinical excellence has been
recognized several times over her career including being the 1999 recipient of Somerset Medical
Center's Nurse of the year award.

After receiving her MBA with honors from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management,
Jamie has spent 15 years developing and implementing marketing strategies for a wide range of clients.
In Ernst & Young's Business Consulting Practice, Jamie helped companies, including American Express,
Hechingers, and Canadian Tire to refocus their organizations against customer segments and leverage
advanced technologies.
At Marketing Corporation of American, a marketing consulting firm that specializes in building demand
creation through consumer insight and innovation, Jamie was responsible for developing and building
relationships with several clients including Schering-Plough, Americast, Capital One and Peachtree Software.
For these companies and others Jamie designed marketing strategies, analyzed new business opportunities,
and developed marketing programs that significantly increased revenues. It was also while at MCofA that
Jamie created a marketing training program for new consultants that was later expanded into a Brand
Marketing Training "University" for Capital One employees.
In 1999 Jamie joined what became Euro RSCG and was responsible for the $32 million First USA relationship.
She also was part of a select senior management team charged with developing the company's own marketing
strategy that reestablished the company as a thought leader and premier advertising company for companies
seeking to leverage the emerging power of the internet. In addition, Jamie was a key strategic partner
in the successful launches of several new ventures including; Concierge, a First USA product, American One,
a subsidiary of Capital One, SpeedGreetings.com, and Orange Communications.
In recent years, Jamie has continued to work with clients in a wide range of industries on a freelance
basis, primarily working with small businesses and start-up ventures to develop marketing strategies,
conduct market research and design marketing programs.

Mr. Sultan brings 16 years of IT experience in legal services, technology, finance and healthcare industries.
As Director of Technology, Sultan is responsible for planning, designing and directing data and
telecommunication infrastructure services at EDIMS, and providing guidance for client sites.
Before joining EDIMS, Sultan was director of network operations at Alexander Gallo Holdings
LLC (AGH) after the Atlanta-based court reporting and litigation support services company acquired
The Hobart West Group Inc., where he was director of information technology. After the acquisition,
Sultan integrated IT personnel from multiple companies AGH had acquired into one technology unit and
oversaw network, server, telecommunication and data center services.
